Los Angeles police hope footage of two bumbling burglars will help lead to their arrest.
ENCINO, CA — Possibly the world's loudest cat burglars were caught on camera, and police hope the footage of them dropping a safe and shouting into the Encino night will help detectives nab them.
The Los Angeles Police Department Wednesday released security video from the nighttime burglary, which took place just two days before Christmas. The burglars made off with about $150,000 in cash, jewelry, a handgun and a small safe, according to police.
The burglary happened in the 4400 block of Alonzo Avenue late at night on Dec. 23, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. In the video, one suspect can bee seen waiting in front of the home in an SUV while the other entered through the rear of the home by breaking a window.
