2013 is the 25th anniversary of the
release of Midnight Run. We want to honor it by getting together with
friends and having a good time – with drinks, food, trivia, and a screening
that will end before midnight. It’s also for a good cause, as a portion of the
proceeds will go to The Innocence Project, an organization that is dedicated to
exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals through DNA testing and reforming
the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice. Charles Grodin is a
big supporter of this group and we though it entirely appropriate to donate to
this cause.

You are cordially invited to attend the party/screening on Saturday, November
23rd at The Federal Bar in North Hollywood, CA. If you haven’t seen the movie,
come check it out, and if you already know it and love it, then come watch with
a like-minded crowd. If you want to play along, you’ll need to take a drink
every time you hear the F word or some variation thereof, so for those of you
who know the movie – pace yourself. There will be some food and drinks
available, T-shirts for sale, some giveaways, trivia, “Jerry’s” complimentary
doughnuts, and an all-around good time, and all for a good cause. Get your
tickets today ($15 advance, $20 at the door). Spread the word, and come on out
– don’t wait for the next life.
