Police Looking for Missing Alzheimer Patient

Authorities are asking for help finding a 74-year-old man missing from a Chatsworth care facility.

A 74-year-old man with Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes is missing from the Chatsworth residential care facility where he lives.

Police say Ronald Thurber, who requires medication, was last seen at 4 a.m. in the 10600 block of Deering Avenue.

Thurber is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, gray pants and white socks and sandals when he was last seen.

Police asked anyone with information regarding Thurber’s whereabouts to call the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Station at (818) 832-0633.
