Mark your calendar for a Shabbat experience you'll enjoy -- Shabbat in the Park Friday, August 2nd! The Jewish Federation Valley Alliance and a consortium of Valley synagogues and other Jewish institutions invite you to pack a picnic dinner and join fellow community members for a casual evening service, arts and crafts and a sing-along concert beneath the trees. There is no cost to participate. It's all happening at Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Boulevard between (Oxnard and Burbank) in Woodland Hills. Bring your own picnic dinner, blanket and chairs. 5 pm Arts and Crafts; 6:15 pm Shabbat service led by community clergy and 7:15 pm Concert. Participating institutions include: Adat Ari El, Temple Ahavat Shalom, Temple Aliyah, Temple Beth Hillel, Temple Judea, Kol Tikvah, Congregation Or Ami, Shomrei Torah, Valley Beth Shalom, Valley Outreach Synagogue, Shalom Institute and The Jewish Federation Valley Alliance.
