The Valley
Watercolor Society is pleased to announce the opening of its 2013-2014 season!
The first meeting will be held on Thursday, September 12th, 2013 at the new
meeting location of St. Michael and All Angels Church - 3646 Coldwater Canyon
Avenue, Studio City, CA. The meeting
begins at 7:00 PM, and will last approximately 2 hours. Refreshments will be
served, and non-members are most welcome!
Every meeting
offers a unique program and demonstration by a recognized painter in watermedia arts
and this first meeting will feature artist Al
Setton. Mr Setton is an experienced local artist, teacher,
and lecturer; his paintings are noted for the high contrast and bright
energetic relationships of shapes, color harmonies and calligraphic strokes.
Please join us in the Meeting Hall behind the church at 7 PM; parking is
located in the lot adjacent to the hall.
