De Luz Fire: 10 Acres Burned Near Fallbrook, 75% Contained
About 30 firefighters are assigned to the fire Wednesday.

DE LUZ, CA – A brush fire that broke out Tuesday near Fallbrook is now 75 percent contained.
The De Luz Fire sparked around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Conquistador Road in the De Luz area, according to Cal Fire. In a little over an hour, firefighters stopped forward progress of the flames, which burned 10 acres.
Firefighters stayed on the scene overnight. By Wednesday morning, the fire was 75 percent contained. About 30 firefighters were assigned to the fire Wednesday.
