Crews Quickly Contain Another Fire Near Fallbrook In North County
The blaze broke out in the 39,000 block of Sandra Creek Drive in De Luz, according to Cal Fire.

DE LUZ, CA – Firefighters quickly contained a brush fire Friday afternoon near Fallbrook. The blaze broke out in the 39,000 block of Sandra Creek Drive in De Luz, according to Cal Fire.
The fire was first reported around 2:50 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log. By 4:05 p.m., crews had stopped forward progress of the flames, which burned 2 acres.
There were no reports of structural threats.

Another brush fire burned 10 acres Tuesday in the De Luz area. About 150 firefighters battled the fire, which broke out at Conquistador Road.

There is a new vegetation fire in the vicinity of Sandia Creek Dr. and Sandia Creek Terrace, near the Riverside County Line. Fire is currently 1-3 acres in size, moving at a slow to moderate rate of speed. North County Fire and Cal Fire are sending a full brush fire response.
