I-15 Nightmare In North San Diego County: Southbound Traffic Slowed Due To Fire
Two lanes will remain closed throughout the Monday evening commute due to a fire along Interstate 15 in Rainbow, according to Caltrans.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – Traffic headed southbound on Interstate 15 near Rainbow in North San Diego County was at a near complete standstill Monday afternoon, following the closure of two lanes due to a fire.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the third and fourth southbound lanes of the freeway were closed in the area due to a fire south of Rainbow Valley Boulevard. The lanes will remain closed throughout the evening commute, according to Caltrans.
Officials asked people to avoid the area, if possible.
