Rep. Bera to Speak in Fair Oaks
Bera meets with Fair Oaks residents for second time, May 4. Budget workshop also set for Monday.
Recently elected U.S. Representative Ami Bera (D-Elk Grove) is set to speak with Fair Oaks residents Saturday, May 4.
The "Congress on the Corner" meet and greet will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Fair Oaks Library, 11601 Fair Oaks Blvd. It will be the second such event in Fair Oaks, according to Bera's office.
The Elk Grove physician was sworn into office in January. It took him two tries to defeat incumbent Dan Lungren, a Republican: in 2010 and in 2012.

Bera is also slated to hold a in Sacramento. The "hands-on" budget workshop will be held at the AT&T Auditorium, 2700 Watt Ave. from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday April 29. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
