Open your home to an EHP international student
for 26 days this summer!
Education First's Educational Homestay Program (EHP), a non-profit organization, is bringing 34 students from Russia, Austria, and Spain to study English and experience the American Way of Life. We are currently looking for homes for these students, and we'd love for you to get involved!
• Students, ages 13-18, will be visiting from 7/2 -7/28/2013.
• The students will be under the supervision of EF Staff from 8:00am-- 5:30pm attending morning language classes and participating in organized educational activities and field trips in the afternoon. Host Families may join us for activities.
• Volunteer Host Families are asked to provide a bed, meals, and transportation to and from the pickup/drop off location in their neighborhood.
• Families may choose to host a boy or girl from any of the visiting countries.
• For every family that you refer to us, you or your chosen organization/charity will receive a $25 dollar donation and earn great discounts on other EF travel.
This is a great opportunity to experience another culture in the comfort of your own home and frankly much cheaper then traveling. Below are some outlined incentives of our program.
You can earn all of the following-
-$200 of travel reimbursement
-Sign up by Feb 28th 2013 to earn an double stickers in your EF -passport
-Boy scouts badge- Family life merit badge
-Girl scouts badge- Family life merit badge
-Great of resumes
-Global community experience for college applications
-15 hours p/week community service hours
- Life long friendships
- $25 Referral bonus ( can be a fundraiser for your organization/ school/ group/ etc.)
