Free Pancakes with Assembly Candidate Ken Cooley

Councilmember Ken Cooley, candidate for the 8th Assembly District, will host the last of five free community pancake breakfasts on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 8:00-9:30 AM in the Vets Hall at Carmichael Park. 


Ken Cooley is well-known in Rancho Cordova for bringing his community events to neighborhoods in order to create an open and interactive government.  He is the sole Democratic candidate in the race for the newly drawn 8th Assembly District. The district includes the communities of Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, Rancho Murieta, Rosemont and Wilton and other portions of unincorporated Sacramento County. Ken is a founding member of the Rancho Cordova City Council, has served continuously since his 2002 election, and served as Mayor in 2005 and 2010. He brings his experience in creating jobs, balancing a government budget and maintaining a surplus every year he has served.
