"Lemonade & Canvas" Kicks Off the 2026 Plateau Palooza Summer Art & Concert Series at the Santa Rosa Plateau
Murrieta, CA — June 27, 2026 — The Nature Education Foundation invites the community to experience an unforgettable evening of art, music, food, and natural beauty at Lemonade & Canvas, the signature opening event of the 2026 Plateau Palooza Summer Art Show & Concert Series.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve, Lemonade & Canvas will take place on Saturday, June 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., offering guests a unique opportunity to sip, savor, and celebrate creativity under the stars.
The evening will feature an outdoor art showcase highlighting the work of 35 local artists, including, for the first time in the event's history, talented scholastic artists from local high schools. Guests will have the opportunity to meet artists, explore their work, and experience the Reserve transformed into an open-air gallery surrounded by rolling hills and golden summer skies.
Adding to the atmosphere will be live entertainment from acclaimed saxophonist Jason Weber, whose versatile performance style blends contemporary favorites with timeless classics. Guests will enjoy a gourmet picnic dinner, complimentary lemonade, and a selection of wine, mocktails, and specialty beverages while relaxing at picnic-style seating throughout the venue.
"Lemonade & Canvas is designed to be much more than an art show or concert," said organizers. "It is an immersive evening where art, music, food, and nature come together to create a memorable experience while supporting an important cause."
The event serves as the official kickoff to the five-week Plateau Palooza Summer Art & Concert Series, a beloved community tradition benefiting youth nature education programs throughout Southwest Riverside County. Following opening night, the series continues with themed Saturday evening concerts featuring local bands and entertainment:
- July 11 – Southern Rock Night with the James Kelly Band
- July 18 – 80s Night with Cheez Whiz
- July 25 – 60s Night with The 1969 Band
- August 1 – Pure Country Night with Pushin' Daisies
Proceeds from Plateau Palooza support The Nature Education Foundation's mission to educate and empower youth to appreciate, preserve, and protect nature, helping thousands of students each year participate in hands-on outdoor science and environmental education programs.
