• First responders conduct rescue training at Garden of Eden along San Lorenzo River (santacruzsentinel.com) — Emergency crews just practiced tricky river rescues at the Garden of Eden, the popular but hard-to-access swimming hole south of Felton. Cal Fire and local agencies used Roaring Camp trains and a Firehawk helicopter to refine extractions, preparing for the 20–30 rescues they typically perform there each year as summer crowds arrive.
