• Five Arrested After Ventura County Gun Bust Uncovers Illegal Weapons Operation (edhat.com) — Fillmore station deputies helped uncover a regional illegal weapons operation after a routine noise complaint in Moorpark led to the discovery of an unregistered assault weapon. Working with multiple Ventura County units, Fillmore detectives served search warrants in Moorpark and Northridge, seizing numerous illegal firearms, silencers, and manufacturing equipment and arresting five suspects on weapons and child endangerment charges.
