• Pedestrian dies after being hit by vehicle in Sacramento County (kcra.com) — A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Florin and Florin Perkins roads, a key route for many local drivers. California Highway Patrol says the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, but what caused the crash remains unclear. The scene was cleared around 3:45 a.m.
