Elderly Man Injured, Wife Killed in Attempted Murder-Suicide
The man was found with stabbing wounds and his wife was already dead when authorities arrived. Their names have not been released.

An elderly man is suspected of stabbing his partner to death and then stabbing himself Saturday night in Foster City, according to police.
Police responded to reports of a medical emergency in the 200 block of Spinnaker Street at about 8 p.m. Saturday and found the man and woman, both in their 90s, suffering from stab wounds in their house.

The woman was dead by the time officers arrived. The man was still alive and his stab wounds appeared to be self-inflicted, police said.
The man was taken to a hospital and police did not say whether he is expected to survive his injuries. The knife he allegedly used was found inside the house, police said.
