We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. San Mateo Cars &amp; Coffee returns to AutoVino for a Mother’s Day Edition that features cars, coffee, families, and the Peninsula car community. Guests can walk around the cars, meet local owners, explore the showroom and car museum, and enjoy lunch in the Wine Garden after the morning event.
BRING MOM AND THE FAMILY
Mother’s Day attracts more than the usual car crowd. Bring Mom, the family, or stop by with friends for coffee, cars, and a Sunday morning at AutoVino. Walk the rows, see what local owners bring in, take a few photos, and kick off the weekend before your other Mother’s Day plans start.
CARS, COFFEE, AND THE AUTOVINO EXPERIENCE
Guests stroll through the rows, watch the cars arrive, and chat with local owners. The AutoVino showroom and car museum are open all morning. Honey and Daisy, the resident Labradors, are usually nearby.
LOCAL OWNERS AND PENINSULA CAR CULTURE
The car lineup varies depending on who shows up. Some mornings feature classic cars, others showcase modern performance vehicles, specialty cars, or club groups from around the Peninsula. The best part is often the conversation: owners talking about builds, guests asking questions, families stopping for photos, and the cars making the introductions.
STAY FOR LUNCH IN THE WINE GARDEN
After Cars &amp; Coffee, the AutoVino Wine Garden opens for lunch. Nate's wood-fired pizza from the 1955 Flxible Bus, charcuterie by Inge, and Woodside Vineyards wine from the Santa Cruz Mountains are available. Stay for the afternoon. It is Mother's Day weekend.
