Heritage Fire is bringing its nationwide live-fire culinary tour to the San Francisco Peninsula on Sunday, July 26, for an afternoon of bold flavors, local talent and friendly competition at Coyote Point in San Mateo. Presented by the San Francisco Peninsula, Heritage Fire will bring together an impressive lineup of chefs cooking over open flames and showcasing their creativity through dishes inspired by responsibly sourced ingredients and regional flavors.

Guests can explore the event at their own pace while enjoying an all-inclusive selection of live-fire dishes, beverages and immersive culinary experiences. Each chef will prepare a signature dish, giving attendees the chance to experience a range of techniques and flavors in one waterfront setting.

This year’s event will also feature the Napa Valley Vintners wine experience. Guests can taste wines from acclaimed Napa Valley producers, meet the people behind the pours and discover new pairings alongside the day’s live-fire dishes.

Throughout the event, guests will be invited to vote for the chef and dish that best represent creativity, technique and the spirit of live-fire cooking. The winning chef will be named the San Mateo Heritage Hero and advance to the Heritage Hero Grand Finale in Greenville, South Carolina, where standout chefs from across the tour will compete for the title of Heritage Hero Grand Champion.

Early Entry ticket holders will receive additional time to explore the event before General Admission begins, along with access to an exclusive curated spirits tasting experience from Justin’s House of Bourbon.

Whether you are a dedicated food lover or simply looking for a memorable summer experience, Heritage Fire offers the opportunity to taste dishes from celebrated culinary talent, sip exceptional wines and experience live-fire cooking on the San Francisco Peninsula.
