Pancake Breakfast is a Tradition 42 Years in the Making
Foster City Patch stopped by the Pancake Breakfast hosted by Island United Church at Leo J. Ryan Park to capture the Fourth of July festivities.
The meadow area of was filled with dozens upon dozens of hungry visitors eagerly anticipating the 43rd Annual Pancake Breakfast, put on by of Foster City. Families and individuals of all ages stopped by to buy some pancakes and sausages, sip coffee, and mingle in the warm July weather.
For many visitors, the pancake breakfast is an annual Fourth of July tradition.
"We drive up here every year just for this breakfast," said Ada Lowe, a resident of San Francisco. "We've been coming here for 9 years in a row. It's worth the drive!"
