Police Blotter: Dog Makes Geese Cross the Road

Friday, Jan. 27
4 p.m., Gull Avenue: FCPD received a report of a damaged vehicle parked for over two weeks. The damage was to the left rear end and tire. The owner was contacted and the vehicle was moved.

2:20 a.m. Lido Lane: FCPD received a report of a man lying face down outside the a resident's garage. The man was determined to be the resident next door who fell on his way home. He was taken home.
10:07 a.m., on Edgewater Boulevard: A man discovered left side and rear end damage on his vehicle with a note stating "I might have scratched your car" with a phone number but no name. He called the number but the subject who answered denied knowledge. A report was taken.

1:13 p.m., on Shad Court: FCPD received a report of a dog that broke through a fence, entered the park and bit another dog. An informational case was taken.
Sunday, Jan. 29
12:30 a.m., : Christopher Ponzo of Redwood City was arrested for DUI and transported to First Chance. Arrest made.
10:39 a.m., Foster City Boulevard and Bounty Drive: FCPD received a report of a male subject with a large brown dog off leash scaring the geese into the street and causing a traffic hazard. The dog and subject were gone upon officer arrival.
