'Unseasonably Hot Temps' Bound For Foster City: Record Highs Expected Around Bay Area

NWS officials are calling for a "rapid warming trend" around the region this week. Find out when temperatures will peak. (breaking)

FOSTER CITY, CA — Weather officials are warning Bay Area residents to prepare for some unseasonably hot weather in the coming days. The "rapid warming trend" is expected to peak on Tuesday, but temperatures will likely remain above normal through the end of the work week, "and perhaps into the weekend," according to the National Weather Service. Currently, it's expected to remain dry through Halloween.

Sunny, with a high near 76. Light and variable wind becoming north northwest 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.

Clear, with a low around 60. North northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm in the evening.
