What’s Open and Closed in Foster City on Presidents Day

Presidents Day is considered a federal holiday. While not everyone has the day off work, many local business are closed today.

The following are CLOSED today:

• Schools in the San Mateo Foster City School District
• Schools in the San Mateo Union High School District
• The Foster City Library
• The Foster City Post Office: No mail delivery.
• The City Hall of Foster City and other city offices: The regular third Monday of the month City Council meeting has been moved to Tuesday.
• Banks

The following are OPEN today:

• Most restaurants
• Grocery stores
• Other businesses such as shops, hair salons, doctor's offices and other services are open at the owner’s discretion.
