• Another Orange County City Bans Kratom (voiceofoc.org) — Fountain Valley has voted 4-1 to ban synthetic kratom products, with the new ordinance taking effect Sept. 17 and adding 21+ limits and child-safe packaging rules. City councilmembers largely backed the move as a public-safety step, while one councilmember and some residents questioned whether there's currently a local problem and urged more education and support for users.
