Barrage Of Bullets Struck Anaheim Residences, Four Arrested One Week Later
4 Anaheim residents were arrested on suspicion of shooting several homes in Anaheim in an attempt to fire upon a rival gang member, cops say

ANAHEIM, CA — On March 9, approximately 20 rounds were shot from an assault rifle into an Anaheim neighborhood on East Balsam Avenue, police said. One week later, the Anaheim SWAT teams served multiple, simultaneous warrants for the men suspected of the shooting, Anaheim police released over Twitter.
Four Orange County men were behind bars Thursday on suspicion of shooting at a rival gang member and missing, but striking several nearby residences in Anaheim.
"All four suspects have prior criminal histories including weapons violations and felonious assaults," police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said. "The nearly week-long investigation by the Anaheim Police Department Gang Detail and Crime Task Force led to the identification of the four suspects.

It happened in the 800 block of East Balsam Avenue on March 9, according to Wyatt. About 20 rounds were fired from an assault rifle by one of the suspects, on March 9. No one was hurt in the gunfire.
On Wednesday night, March 16, police arrested Margarito Sandoval, 25, Erick Malacara, 31, Irwin Malacara, 27 and Giovanni Martinez, 21, all of Anaheim, in the simultaneous serving of warrants, Wyatt said.

All were booked at the Anaheim Detention Facility, with bail of $1,000,000.
