OC Sheriff's Dept Bomb squad has rendered the pipe device safe; 3100 block of N. Euclid in Fullerton is now open, evacuation orders lifted.

FULLERTON, CA — In the Fullerton, La Habra area, a discovery of a pipe-like object capped on both ends prompted multiple evacuations in the area. The Orange County Sheriff's Department bomb squad has rendered the pipe-device safe, according to Fullerton Police Sgt. John Radus.

As of 1:30 p.m. all evacuation orders were removed, and traffic is open, Radus said.

Initially called a "suspicious package," the device was spotted on N. Euclid street. Euclid St. was closed at Lasenda Dr. due to police activity, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
