Fountain Valley Fire Department Engineer Testing

Each engine/truck has four crew members - a Captain, an Engineer and two Firefighter/Paramedics. An engineer is the crew member that drives the truck/engine and is second in command for fire crews. They are responsible for the tools on the apparatus as well as pumping and aerial operations. In addition to written tests and oral interviews, the candidates took part in hands on skills tests.
