Fullerton Murder Takes Bizarre Turn with Three Arrests
A triple homicide in Fullerton took a turn when both victims and those in jail all were discovered to belong to the SoCal "furry" community.

FULLERTON, CA — A triple homicide originally reported by a child's 911 call to report her parents "had died" Saturday morning took a bizarre turn on Monday when it was released that the three victims and those arrested in connection with their murder were part of the Southern California "furry" community.
That Orange County community of role-playing adults was in shock upon learning of the multiple homicides and bizarre twist with the three arrested in connection with the crime.
Fullerton Police Department released a statement saying they committed numerous resources to locating those arrested.

"Detectives have followed up on leads, conducted surveillance and written and served search warrants in connection with this crime from South Orange County to Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley to Fort Irwin and Barstow," Fullerton Police Department Sgt. Jon Radus said. "We hope the quick arrest of these individuals will bring comfort to the community and assist the families and friends of those affected by this unthinkable crime."
Jennifer Yost, a 39-year-old, and her husband Christopher Yost, 34, were found murdered in their home along with another member of the group, friend Arthur Boucher, after the couple's young daughter called 911 to inform the police that her parents "had died."

Two other children were found in the home on Saturday, and both were unharmed. A third 17-year-old daughter was discovered as missing and treated as a missing person by the Fullerton Police.
One day later, Fullerton police arrested 25-year-old Frank Felix of Sun Valley, Idaho, and Joshua Acosta, a 21-year-old U.S. Army mechanic of Fort Irwin, which resulted in the discovery of the Yosts' missing 17-year-old daughter.
The official booking charges for the two men include murder and conspiracy to commit murder, according to the Fullerton Police Department, who declined to add information until after the District Attorney's office has filed its report.
"A 17-year-old female juvenile has also been detained for the murders and is in custody at the Orange County Juvenile Hall," Fullerton Police stated in their release. State law prohibits releasing the name of juveniles who have been arrested for crimes.
According to reports from KTLA, the teenager is expected to face murder charges as well.
Katylnn, known on the OC Furry Facebook Fan Page as Daydreamer, was reported to the group as missing on Sunday. News of the murders struck the group and its videographer Christopher Parque-Johnson of Garden Grove, according to the OC Register.
"It makes no sense," he told the Register of the murders. "...She was a mother figure to the SoCal Furs."
Both Felix and Acosta were also recognized by Parke-Johnson as "furries," according to the OC Register, as was Yost’s daughter and step-daughter.
“All of them were always nice to everybody,” said Parque-Johnson said. Though he stated that he knew those involved, it was Jennifer that he knew best.
"People looked up to her," Parque-Johnson said. "A lot of people cared about her."
The costumes in the group photos are elaborate, intricate and run the gamut from realistic to cartoonish. Parque-Johnson told the OC Register that the group gathers to watch movies, play video games, draw pictures and trade cards.
Videos of the group and their gatherings show the light side of the group who met in the outdoors and just tried to keep to themselves and "try to get away from the negative stuff in life," he said.
