JetPack Men Will Fly High At Huntington Beach Airshow In October

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — It's the future of flight at the Great Pacific Airshow. This year, two Jetpack Men will fly over audiences in an innovative and thrilling performance that promises to bring imagination to life, and human self-propelled flight to the forefront.

The Jetpack Man, David Mayman, discussed his journey of self-flight as being "relentlessly obsessed" with jet-pack piloting and the future of the growing industry.

"I’m beyond excited to fly our technology with the second JetPack Pilot of the company, Boris Jarry, at the Great Pacific Airshow to demonstrate the amazing performance and capabilities of our jet-packs."

Known to his fans as “the JetPack Man,” Mayman's pack can reach over 150-miles-per-hour, and he can travel up to three miles.

The duel jetpack performance they are planning for the Great Pacific Airshow will feature Jarry and Mayman on their FAA certified JB10 JetPacks as they soar up-close, over the water and through the venue.

The Great Pacific Airshow spokesperson discussed the performance in store for audiences.

“The historic JetPack Aviation performance is just another reason why the Great Pacific Airshow is unlike any other experience,” said Kevin Elliott, airshow director and CEO of Code Four, operators of the Great Pacific Airshow.

Never before have two Jetpack pilots performed together in an airshow, he said.

The Great Pacific Airshow, held Oct. 4 – 6 in Huntington Beach, will feature over four hours of non-stop aerial excitement including the Southern California debut of the Royal Air Force Red Arrows jet team, the return of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds jet team, US Air Force F-35 Lightning II demo, F-18 Super Hornet, plus a host of world-class performers.

For those aviation fans who want to see the Jetpack Men and the other airshow action up close, the Great Pacific Airshow has several premium ticket options. The Flight Line Club features hosted food and bar, enhanced audio and premium viewing. The Drop Zone offers food and a variety of beverages for sale and is located close to the water.
