ANAHEIM, CA – A Metrolink train rammed into an unoccupied vehicle today on the crossing at East South Street, delaying passengers for about 90 minutes, but no one was injured.

Train 600, which starts at Union Station in Los Angeles and was headed to Oceanside, slammed into the vehicle about 8:35 a.m., said Metrolink spokesman Scott Johnson.

There were 220 passengers aboard, but no one complained of injuries, he said. The train sustained minor damage, but was able to continue its route at 10 a.m., Johnson said.
