The herd is currently visible in Sabercat Historical Park, offering both a charming sight and a reminder of ongoing fire-prevention efforts in the area.

2. Fremont holds second Charter Committee meeting (tricityvoice.com) — Fremont’s Charter Advisory Committee recently held its second meeting to explore whether the city should adopt its own charter and possibly change its form of government. Members and city staff debated costs, hiring authority for department heads, and how much time they have to draft a complete charter recommendation on an accelerated six‑week schedule.

3. Tesla Will Fine You $50,000 for Flipping Its Final Model S and X (star-telegram.com) — Tesla is retiring its Model S and X to clear space at its Fremont factory, where it plans to build Optimus humanoid robots instead. A limited-run Signature Edition of both models comes with strict no-resale rules, steep penalties, and lifetime perks like Full Self-Driving and free Supercharging, with final deliveries and a farewell celebration expected in May.
