β€’ Burglars Arrested After Breaking Into Fremont Business, Drilling Into Safes: Police (patch.com) β€” Two suspects were arrested after allegedly breaking into a Mission Boulevard business in Fremont, drilling into multiple safes, then crashing into a center divider while fleeing from police. Officers chased the pair on foot, catching one immediately and finding the other hiding in a wooded area. Identities haven't been released, but Fremont police say the case stems from a Sept. 21 burglary.

β€’ Thieves steal trailers branded with NVIDA, PlusAI logos, find 40,000 pounds of sand inside (local12.com) β€” Fremont police are investigating after thieves stole two PlusAI trailers branded with Nvidia and PlusAI logos from the company's Fremont warehouse, only to abandon them in Newark when they discovered they were filled with 40,000 pounds of sand for testing. The trailers were recovered and returned, and no arrests have been announced as investigators review surveillance video of the unauthorized tractors involved.
