Another Armed Street Robbery Reported In Fremont

The robberies may be releated to previous ones, police report.

FREMONT, CA — Two people were robbed at gunpoint in their car early Wednesday morning in Fremont, according to police.

Police said the victims were sitting in thier car in a parking lot in the 5100 block of Mowry Avenue at 2:14 a.m. when three suspects approached the vehicle and allegedly robbed them at gunpoint.

The victims told police they believed around seven or eight people were involved in the robbery, and that they were last seen driving away in multiple vehicles toward Farrell Drive.

According to police, one of the suspect vehicles, a black BMW sedan, is similar to the description of a suspect vehicle that was involved in a string of robberies Tuesday night.

Police said the second suspect vehicle was described as a 4-door, silver sedan, possible a Honda Accord.

The victims reported their wallets, cellphones and keys stolen.

The suspect armed with the handgun was described as a black man in is mid-20s, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, 260 pounds, with a stocky build and short black curly hair. Police said he was last seen wearing a black and red hooded sweatshirt and blue pants.

A second suspect was described as a black man in is mid-20s, around 5 feet 8 inches tall, 200 pounds, with a scrawny build, short black curly hair, low facial hair and wearing metal frame glasses.
