Arm Bone Found in Dirt at Fremont Construction Site

The Alameda County coroner's bureau collected the bone as evidence.

FREMONT, CA: Workers found what appears to be a human arm bone Tuesday at a construction site in Fremont, according to police. The crew was working on a new apartment complex in the vicinity of Fremont Boulevard and Thornton Avenue when they found the arm bone laying in the dirt.

They contacted personnel with the Alameda County coroner's bureau, who believed the bone to be human remains based on a photograph. Fremont Police documented the crime scene, and the coroner's bureau responded to the scene to collect the bone as evidence, police said.

No other information was currently available.
