Armed Pair Sought In Fremont Home Burglary: Police
BREAKING: The suspects fled in a vehicle and eluded police in the Castro Valley-Hayward area.

FREMONT, CA – Fremont police are looking for two men suspected of breaking into and ransacking a home Wednesday afternoon, according to police officials.
At about 2:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a residential burglary at a home near the intersection of Paseo Padre Parkway and Durham Road.
The two suspects apparently entered the home, ransacked it and were interrupted by the residents who had returned home shortly after the break-in began, according to police.

The suspects fled while brandishing a firearm, got into a vehicle and, as officers arrived, drove away from the home.
They were chased by police into the Hayward/Castro Valley area where they eluded officers, police said.
The home's residents were not hurt during the encounter.

The burglary does not appear to be related to a home invasion robbery in the nearby Cameron Hills neighborhood on Dec. 9, police said.
