Stolen Trailer From Fremont Found With Automated License Plate Reader
The trailer was found in Benicia shortly after being reported missing, and a 61-year-old man was arrested, police said.

FREMONT, CA — A 61-year-old man was arrested, and a trailer stolen from Fremont was recovered in Benicia last week shortly after police received notifications via the city's Automated License Plate Reader system, according to authorities.
The trailer was reported stolen in Fremont at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday, the Benicia Police Department said.
At roughly 3:30 p.m., Benicia police headed to the Industrial Park on the 6000 block of Goodyear Road in Benicia after learning the trailer was at that location — via the ALPR high-tech cameras that read vehicles' makes, models and license numbers, police said.
