WILDCAT CANYON REGIONAL PARK, CA — Bobcats are found throughout California and are considered secretive, according tot he California Department of Fish and Wildlife. But don't tell that to Eric Graham, who actually had one pose for him recently. He tells Patch, "I took these pictures on the morning of April 20 at Wildcat Canyon Regional Park on the Old Nimitz Way trail. I was able to follow this male bobcat for a few minutes while it was trying to hunt quail. Eventually it looked back and realized I was following. Rather than run off, it stood for a couple of minutes and allowed me to take its photo."
Amazing--great photo, Eric! Thank you for sharing with Patch readers.
If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we’d love to feature it on Patch.
