FREMONT, CA — Last Friday night, 72-year-old Suzanne Ogi and her dog Molly were killed as they crossed Niles Boulevard in a crosswalk at Rock Avenue. Witnesses told officers that the driver stopped and checked on Ogi as she lay mortally wounded, and then returned to his car and drove away toward Union City.

The driver has not been caught.

On Tuesday, police released a series of photos that they hope will solve the case. They are asking people to look at this car and identify who owns it — do you have a neighbor, former coworker or relative who drives a 1997-99 Buick LeSabre? Here's another view of the car.

The photos were pulled from in-car camera footage from Fremont police vehicles that had been in the area for the Niles Festival of Lights Parade. It's believed that these shots were taken shortly before the deadly crash. Police say the quality is too poor to read the license plate.

The video was taken at Mission Boulevard and Nursey Avenue.

Police also released a photo of a different Buick LeSabre from the late 90s so you can ID the car easier. The suspect vehicle has front end damage.
