FREMONT, CA — Today's photo of the day introduces Roller, Lakshmi Kollipara's doodle-mix.

Kollipara says she captured this photo in the morning after Roller made his way down the stairs and sat in the middle of the floor, his blanket still somehow around him.

"There was something so calm and innocent about that moment — no rush, no noise, just pure presence," Kollipara told Patch. "He didn’t do anything special, yet made my world feel better just by being there."
