Woman Killed When SUV Rolls Several Times
The crash was reported at 9:42 a.m. on northbound Highway 880 in Fremont. The victim's name has been released.

FREMONT, CA -- A vehicle passenger died in a crash on northbound Interstate Highway 880 in Fremont this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The victim has been identified as 58-year-old Lori Peterson of Campbell.
The collision was reported at 9:42 a.m. when a black sedan driving on northbound Highway 880 at South Fremont Boulevard crashed into a green SUV, according to CHP Officer Manuel Leal.
The green SUV lost control, turned over multiple times and a passenger in the vehicle died at the scene.

The driver of the green SUV was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, and the driver of the black sedan appears to be OK, Leal said.
Three lanes of the highway were closed for nearly three hours.
