FREMONT, CA — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up the barbecue and find out what Fourth of July festivities are going on near you this Independence Day so you can start planning now.

In Fremont, the can't miss annual spectacle is the 4th of July Parade. It includes everything you'd hope for in a community parade, from marching bands to balloons.

The Grand Marshall is Robert Turbin, an Irvington High School graduate who now plays in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts.
