Fremont Firefighters Battle Blaze At Abandoned Restaurant
There were no injuries reported in the Thursday night fire.

FREMONT, CA — Firefighters in Fremont on Thursday night responded to a structure fire at an abandoned restaurant.
On Thursday at 10:22 p.m., the Fremont Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 36659 Fremont Blvd.
Responding firefighters initially searched the building and confirmed no one was inside.

Crews then withdrew from the building and performed a defensive fire attack from outside.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze within 90 minutes, and the fire was contained to the building.

There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
