Fremont Grocery Store To Close: Report
The store has a lot of nearby competition. The store's final day in business is June 3.
FREMONT, CA — Sprouts Farmers Market will close its Fremont grocery store, along with a second market in Mountain View, according to a report by the Bay Area News Group.
The store's last day of business is expected to be June 3.
Sprouts did not respond to a request for comment from Patch.

“We’ve reached the end of our lease with both property owners, and with the proximity of our nearby stores, we made the decision to close these locations,” Dustin Hamilton, a regional vice president for Sprouts, told the newspaper.
Fremont employees have been given the opportunity to transfer to other stores.

Meanwhile, Sprouts continues to open stores in other states with more than a dozen new stores planned this year.
