Fremont Police Arrest Burglary Suspect With Long Criminal Record
Marquise McClinton was arrested Tuesday. Two other suspects got away in a silver truck.
FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police arrested one man, while two others are on the run, following a burglary that was thwarted when the suspects realized that the resident was home, Fremont Police report. The man they arrested, 33-year-old Marquise McClinton, has an "extensive criminal history."
Police received the burglary report just after 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Morrison Canyon Road. All three suspects fled the home with the resident chasing after them. Two got way in a silver truck that had been parked in the driveway. The third suspect was believed to have ran away on foot.
Additional officers and detectives descended on the area and McClinton was taken into custody around 9 a.m.
