Fremont Police Military Equipment Display Planned Wednesday
A full inventory of the equipment is available online.

FREMONT, CA — If you are curious about equipment that the Fremont Police Department has that has been defined as military equipment by California, including drones, it will be on display from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Fremont Police Department parking lot, 2000 Stevenson Blvd.
The Military Equipment Display will be held rain or shine, but in the event of rain some of the equipment will be displayed in the lobby.
"AB 481 went into effect on January 1, 2022, which defined certain law enforcement equipment as 'military equipment' and required all state law enforcement agencies to seek council’s approval and showcase all such equipment annually," Fremont Police said in a statement to the community. "For clarity, FPD does not participate in the Military Surplus Program (AKA 10-33 program)."
