FREMONT, CA — Prof. Viswanath Seshadri shared this photo of a goat clearing weeds next to a canal in October. An entire herd of goats was enlisted to get the job done.

"The concept of releasing Goats along the Canal in Fremont Creek Road is an excellent example of sustainable development," Seshadri told Patch in an email, "It is a Win-Win venture with great environmental benefits. Congratulations to the authorities."

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and photo.
