Police are seeking four people suspected of stealing a woman’s gold chain as she walked along a Fremont street Tuesday afternoon. At 5:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area near the intersection of Deep Creek Road and Ridgewood Drive for a report of a robbery, according to police.

A woman had been walking on Ridgewood Drive with her husband when a female suspect ran up to her and grabbed a gold chain she was wearing around her neck, police said. As the female suspect grabbed the chain, three other male suspects held the victim’s arms and legs, preventing the victim from defending herself, according to police.

Police described the female suspect as a Hispanic woman who is approximately 20 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with shoulder-length hair and a headband. She was wearing sunglasses, a gray sweatshirt and jeans, police said. A second suspect was described as a black man between the ages of 27 and 28, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds and wearing a khaki shirt and a black hat, according to police.
