IBM's Call For Code Hackathon In Fremont Saturday

FREMONT, CA — Bay Area software developers will take to their keyboards Saturday in Fremont to solve problems related to natural disasters.

IBM's Call for Code Hackathon starts at 8 a.m. at 42 Silicon Valley at 6600 Dumbarton Circle.

The grand prize is $200,000, mentorship from experts at IBM and potential company funding.

Registration for the event is free and can be found here.

Last year, a finalist created a solution to help forecast and detect wildfires.
