Nature Decorates For Halloween: Photos Of The Day
This tree at Quarry Lakes is enmeshed in spider webs.
FREMONT, CA — Halloween decorations are starting to pop up in neighborhoods around Fremont. Some decorations include fake spider webs.
Sundar Amartur submitted a series of five photos of a tree in Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area that has been decorated for the spooky holiday by at least one diligent spider.
"I am sending a few images that may reflect the mood of Halloween," Sundar wrote in an email. "What is interesting is that this lone tree which is hardly noticed by passers-by is completely covered by spider webs. The subject was backlit early in the morning."
