Outdoor Beer Garden, Community Plaza To Open In Fremont
Town Fair Plaza will have live entertainment, recreational areas, and on-going programs chosen by popularity.

FREMONT, CA — Who's ready to sample over 60 local craft beers under a geodesic dome, nosh on gourmet or greasy fare from food trucks, play bocce ball while the kids are entertained with an imagination playground, ping pong and a multi-use court? If you haven't jumped out of your chair yelling, "Me!" then it's time to add a 9-hole mini golf course, a makerspace for youth and adult workshops, maker meetups and retail pop up shops, a stage for live performances, a mini outdoor library/hammock lounge, moveable furniture and more.
It sounds fantastical, but it's oh-so-real and it's coming to Downtown Fremont. It's called Town Fair Plaza, and it opens this Saturday, June 2. A grand opening scheduled for June 16.
The project is a combo effort involving Public Space Authority, the City of Fremont and Filco Events. The temporary community space is located at 39100 State St.
