Police Arrest Suspect in Two Fremont Bank Robberies

FREMONT, CA — A woman was arrested in Antioch today in connection with two bank robberies in Fremont earlier this year, according to a police spokesman.

Sgt. Ricardo Cortes said that with the help of outside agencies police were able to locate Sunshine Kinder around noon at the Ramada Inn, near Auto Center Drive and state Highway 4.

Kinder was wanted for allegedly robbing a U.S. Bank in a Safeway in Fremont on July 18 and Sept. 10, according to police.

Police said she was taken into custody without incident.
